Construction Update as of 7.22.24

We are just over halfway through the summer break, yet we still have plenty of work left to do.

The following are highlights that will happen this summer and fall. It is not a complete list of all the 
projects yet to be completed within the scope of the 2023 bond.

By the end of July, we should substantially complete the following work in the Jr/Sr High School:

• New flooring throughout the hallways, bathrooms, and cafetorium
• New sound panels in the auxiliary and main gymnasiums
• Painted all hallways and the main gymnasium
• Updated bathrooms

Before the start of school, we expect to substantially complete:

• Installation of new windows (some of them arrived damaged so we had to re-order)
• New greenhouse
• New football seating for the home side and new visitor bleachers
• New sidewalk along the road and the main driveway
• Update the courtyard

Projects to complete after the start of school:

• Science rooms – estimated 10/18/24
• Baseball field
• Softball field

Elementary projects:

• The excavation for the new additions should start in mid-August
• The construction of the additions will continue throughout the year
• The inside work will happen in the summer of 2025

District projects to complete by the start of the school year:

• Cleaning of all classrooms
• Technology - maintenance of classroom computers
• Installation of new wireless network
• Installation of new phone system
• Implementation of new transportation software
• Implementation of new website and mobile app
• Implementation of new event scheduler
